BWBR welcomed 12 new shareholders to the employee-owned firm recently. The newly named shareholders reflect the range of BWBR’s service offerings including architecture, interior design, project management, planning, sustainability, marketing, and administration.
The newest class of shareholders also demonstrates BWBR’s effort to promote equity in the profession. The new shareholders bring the total number of women with ownership in the firm to 40 percent.
The employees named new shareholders include:
- Jarett Anderson, AIA, project manager who joined the firm in 2010.
- Sara Curlee, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, senior project architect who joined the firm in 2010.
- Coral Digatono, business development manager who joined the firm in 2019.
- Rebekah Erler, controller who joined the firm in 2016.
- Miriam Figueroa, LEED AP BD+C, senior job captain who joined the firm in 2014.
- Susan Golberg, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, project manager who rejoined the firm in 2014 following an earlier tenure.
- Pete Haag, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, CDT, quality assurance specialist who joined the firm in 2012.
- Amy Kotchevar, CID, IIDA, NCIDQ, senior interior designer who joined the firm in 2013.
- Charles Orton, AIA, LEED AP, senior project manager who joined the firm in 2013.
- Nate Roisen, AIA, project manager who joined the firm in 2013.
- Rachael Spires, AIA, CDT, CCS, LEED AP, specification writer who joined the firm in 2016.
- Elise Vrchota, database administrator and analyst who joined the firm in 2014.
A 98-year old firm, BWBR is owned by more than one-third of its employees.
