MASTER PLANNING
BWBR has completed over 100 master plans in the last 10 years and about 90% of our work begins with a master plan. We embrace master planning as a critical component to the success of an organization, especially in healthcare. BWBR helps clients create master plans in order to evaluate existing facilities, help project space needs, and develop options.

REMODELS & RENOVATIONS
As a relationship-based organization, many of BWBR’s client partnerships go back decades. Due to these relationships, a significant portion of our healthcare work is comprised of renovation projects, often in challenging existing conditions. These span the gamut of every space found within a hospital or clinic from offices and administrative areas to highly technical pharmacies and surgical suites.
CRITICAL ACCESS HOSPITALS
Our experience working with Critical Access Hospitals (CAH) and rural health clinics is second to none. We have worked with more than 70 CAH nationwide, on a full range of services from campus and facility planning to remodeling, expansion, and replacement campus projects.

MENTAL/BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
BWBR is nationally recognized as a thought leader for research-informed behavioral health design and speaks regularly at major conventions. We have designed across the care continuum with a successful track record of helping private and public entities design facilities for inpatient and outpatient mental health, including new construction and renovation.
