Replacement Critical Access Hospital
Cascade Medical Center
BWBR worked with Cascade Medical Center to design a replacement Critical Access Hospital on a new, more accessible site. Challenged with an undersized facility, aging infrastructure, and outdated building systems, a replacement hospital on a seven-acre greenfield site is needed to sustain the medical center into the future.
The new hospital will solve these challenges, with goals of making the space more comfortable and accessible for both patients and staff, meeting modern healthcare standards, supporting community growth, and assuring continuity of existing services such as family medicine, 24/7 emergency care, inpatient services, behavioral health, and physical therapy. To support flexibility, expandability, and durability, BWBR created a layout that embodies healing, providing intuitive navigation, efficient access for staff by collocating services within the facility, and room for future expansion.
