Workplace Renovations
Securian Financial
Securian Financial has a long history of collaboration with BWBR, including the design of the 400 Robert Street tower in Lowertown Saint Paul (1982). More recently BWBR has been involved with a series of campus renovation projects, including the 400 building lobby reception, campus café and patio, human resources lobby, asset management workplace, and leadership and boardroom suite.
The renovations coincide with Securian’s brand refresh, cultural shift to team-oriented workspaces, and modern approach to welcoming a new mobile and collaborative workforce. With a focus on the client and staff experience, informal gathering areas replace traditional reception desks, complete with lounges and coffee bars. People are invited to interact in synergetic environments, or recharge on a rooftop patio with access to fresh air and outdoor activities. Alternatively, conference rooms and small enclosed workstations provide quieter spaces for private tasks or confidential conversations.
